Ashland Spring Thaw Mt Bike Festival

With Sadness, the 2020 Spring Thaw Mountain Bike Festival that was to be held on May 16-17 has been cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic impact on large gatherings.

Group events are still not being allowed by the deciding parties City of Ashland, Parks, and National Forest leadership. The respective teams were awesome through the process, and want to see this race RESCHEDULED. However, right now, we are not able to get a tentative date due to the restrictions on Group Events. Please keep yourself updated by checking our Facebook page for updates.

We had 14 registrants. The following are your options:

1. You can do nothing. This will transfer your registration to the 2020 tentative rescheduled event or 2021 event. If I don't hear from you, this is what I will do.

2. You can receive a 80% refund, with the remainder of registration costs unfortunately being needed to cover sunk costs. I'm using a similar model to other local races. To get this, you must contact me via the Facebook page within 30 dates of this notice. If you don't contact us in that timeframe, your registration will be automatically transferred to the next race. If you don't have Facebook, you can email me at rogueraceseries@gmail.com

3. If you purchased event insurance, you will get your refund per the imathlete.com policy. I've contacted them to let them know about the date cancellation and potential reschedule.

I am looking forward to seeing you all soon, and I can say that is the case with the City of Ashland, Parks & Rec, and the National Forest Leadership involved with this race.

We are excited to announce we have added younger age groups for those little shredders. We now have a junior under 8, junior 8-10 and junior 11-13.
